1. Who we are
jdfive myshop (“myshop”, “we”, “us”) is operated by jdfive. myshop lets shop owners publish a public website for their business and lets visitors browse shops and products at myshop.jdfive.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy describes how we handle information when you use the myshop customer website, public shop pages, and related services that link to this policy. Shop owners who manage their business through the owner console at owner.myshop.jdfive.com are also covered here.
3. Information we collect
- Account information — if you sign in (for example with email or Google), we receive your Firebase user id, email address, and display name from our authentication provider.
- Shop and product content — information shop owners submit, such as shop name, location, phone or WhatsApp number, product names, descriptions, prices, images, and categories. This content may be shown publicly on shop pages.
- Usage and technical data — standard server and CDN logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) and cookies or similar technologies needed to run the site securely.
- Location — only if you choose to share it (for example to sort nearby shops or products). We do not collect precise location in the background without your action.
4. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- provide, operate, and improve myshop;
- display public shop and product pages;
- authenticate users and protect accounts;
- review uploaded images and content for safety and policy compliance;
- respond to support requests and enforce our terms;
- maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service providers — hosting (Google Cloud, Cloudflare), authentication (Google Firebase), image storage (Google Cloud Storage), and content moderation (jdfive Lens), only as needed to run the service.
- The public — shop and product details that owners publish are visible to anyone who visits a shop’s public URL.
- Legal requirements — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
6. Data retention
We keep account and shop data while your account or shop is active. If you delete a shop or close your account, we remove or anonymise data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal, security, or backup purposes.
7. Your choices
- You can choose not to create an account and still browse public shop pages.
- Shop owners can update or remove shop and product information from the owner console.
- To request access, correction, or deletion of personal data, email us at [email protected].
8. Children
myshop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as HTTPS, access controls, and cloud provider security features. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. By using myshop, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of myshop after changes means you accept the updated policy.
